  • Philanthropic Fairs

    "Turn your unwanted treasures into Cash"

    car boot 2 450These have replaced the former Car Boot Sales and are organised by FSEG volunteers to generate funds from: (1) open-air sales by FSEG of items donated by friends, and also (2) donations by the wider public for the use of  spaces for stands or stalls in the fairground.

    The Fairs are held at the Victoria Football Ground from 7:00am onwards on the last Sundays of January, February, March, April, May, September, October, November & December.

    Tthe following guidelines must be followed:

    1. These Fairs help recycling between people of unwanted items they own and, in so doing, help the philanthropic work of the FSEG;
    2. The participants must pre-book their space and are expected to donate something to the FSEG;
    3. At the end of each event participants should remove their own material and leave the area free from litter and clean.
    4. No Commercial traders are allowed to participate;
    5. No lorries, trucks or commercial vans are allowed in the area.

    carboot sale 350Donors of any items (e.g. books, household goods, bric-a-brac) should contact the FSEG volunteers on Tel. 21553336 or 79553336 to arrange for delivery or collection. Typically we collect items up-to 2 or 3 days before the event to give us time to sort and price them. We thank donors in advance.victoria football ground
